Hydrophilic Waterstop

Hydrophilic waterstops are designed to prevent water from leaking from or into concrete structures by swelling when in contact with water and creating an impenetrable barrier. They can be used for multiple purposes, including protecting structures from the wear and tear of a constant flow of water and maintaining the desired structural integrity.

Bentobar+ Hydrophilic Waterstop - 5m Roll (20mm x 25mm)

Bentobar is a bentonite-based, dual-seal, self-expanding sealing bar specifically designed to seal construction joints against the ingress or egress of liquids in water retaining or excluding structures. Bentobar is designed to maintain effectiveness throughout continuous wet and dry cycles, and will create a waterproof seal for up to 6 bar of pressure.

To install, simply apply adhesive to the joint, then nail in place at 25cm intervals, using an overlap of 10cm where necessary. 

Polybar+ Hydrophilic Waterstop - 10m Roll (20mm x 10mm)

Polybar is a highly flexible, modern alternative to bentonite-based waterstops and instead is manufactured with a thermoplastic synthetic rubber compound that has impressive hydrophilic capabilities. Polybar is lightweight and has high elasticity, meaning it's very easy to use in more difficult applications.  

To install Polybar simply clean the surface of dust and dirt, apply adhesive to the area to be sealed, then place the Polybar along the length of the joint. Ensure a 10cm overlap is accounted for at any waterstop joints.
