Mould Release Agent Application

WB Emulsified Formwork Release Agent can be used on steel and timber formwork, with timber requiring an additional coat before concrete pour.

Apply shuttering release oil as close to the time of pouring as possible, by spray, brush, or swab application. Timber formwork or moulds will likely benefit from an additional coat once the mould oil is applied, just before the moulds are filled. Ensure that not too much release agent is applied, and that any excess is removed before concrete is poured. 

For vertical formwork, ensure any excess oil that collects at the base of the formwork is removed before pouring.
